Muitaventura takes you to one of the most beautiful places on Serra de Sintra, 463 m high rich in sacred tradition y archeological traces.
Saint Eufémia is one of the oldest noble places of early settlers in 4000 b.c
A symbol of Roman occupation, with traces all around Sintra, and a reference point in the crusade chronics in 1147. Back then, the water from the fountain was considered as having healing powers, curing even people sick with heavy cough. It was a big enough reason to create the small chapel that still exist there today. A prove of their devotion is that the square that surround the temple is a leisure area, with a bandstand.
On Good Friday, the people from S. Pedro used to gather in Saint Eufémia to socialize and have a meal of sea food from the beaches of Sintra.
