Treasure Hunt on the Costa da Caparica – Adventure Among Sea, Sand, and Traditions
The treasure hunt on the Costa da Caparica began at the emblematic Paradão, the extensive seaside promenade, where the constant sound of the waves and the deep blue of the Atlantic create the perfect setting to begin the adventure.
Participants gathered by the dunes and received a personalized Road Book, which challenged them to observe the coastline, the fishermen in the distance, and the natural landmarks that make this place unique.
Following the clues, the group traveled along the Paradão towards different strategic points, where small tasks brought them closer to the history and traditions of Espírito Santo. With the salty wind on their faces and the ever-present sea view, each challenge reinforced the spirit of discovery.
Some team-building games took place on the beach, where participants faced fun challenges.
The vibrant energy of the beach—with surfboards, paddle boats, and the smell of sea air—transformed each moment into a memorable experience.
From the beach, the adventure continued to the Costa da Caparica Urban Park, a spacious and relaxed green area where new challenges tested creativity and cooperation. Here, hidden riddles emerged among the trees, codes were deciphered on walking trails, and observation tasks connected the park's green to the blue of the sea, always within sight.
To complete the experience, the explorers faced the delicious and eagerly awaited tasting of Santo António pastries, the traditional sweet of Costa da Caparica. In this tasty challenge, they had to identify ingredients, discover the origin of this confectionery, and sample variations of the famous pastries.
This stage not only sweetened the adventure but also celebrated local gastronomy and the region's cultural heritage.
The treasure hunt ended again by the sea, where the final treasure—symbolizing the union between nature, tradition, and team spirit—was revealed at sunset, making the experience complete, vibrant, and unforgettable.
